The Advantage Player System

The narrator in this film is a digital likeness of Peter Arabo — his own face and voice, created by him.

You're not a gambler. So stop losing like one.

Recorded by the operator who did it — and corrected on camera where he got it wrong.

Everywhere else, you're disciplined. You read the numbers. You wait for the edge. You don't chase.

Then you sit down at the table and become someone you'd never hire.

Here's what they never told you: the house isn't taking your money with luck. It's taking it because you showed up to a math fight with a feeling. Hand the mind that built your life a real edge, and the whole thing flips — you stop donating, and you start collecting.

This isn't how to gamble better. It's how to never be the sucker at the table again.

NEW TO COUNTING? START HERE

It isn't what the movies told you.

You don't memorize the cards. Nobody does that. The name is misleading — you're not counting cards, you're keeping one score.

Counting is one number, kept in your head. Every card that hits the table counts — yours, the other players', the dealer's. One card at a time, you add one, subtract one, or do nothing. Then you're back to one number.

That's the whole mechanic. The system is called Hi-Lo.

Hi-Lo card values
CardDo this
2 3 4 5 6+1
7 8 90
10 J Q K A−1

The ace counts as a high card. It's minus one because it's a card you want still coming, not already gone.

You start at zero when the deck is fresh, and you keep one running total until it's shuffled.

When low cards leave the deck, the number goes up. When high cards leave, it goes down. A high number means more tens and aces are still to come.

Tens and aces are the cards that pay you. They make blackjacks, and they break the dealer when the rules force them to keep drawing. When more of them are left, the game tilts a little your way. That's the whole reason anyone counts.

That is the situation you want, so you bet more. And in a few specific spots, the right play changes too — the course covers exactly which.

You are not tracking cards. You are tracking one tally.

It is arithmetic you already have. What's hard is doing it fast, for an hour, without losing the number. That is what the drills are for. The Test is where you prove you can do it, instead of being told you're ready.

That is one of four free card counting trainers. The others drill the true count, basic strategy and the count deviations. No sign-up, no card.

The drill, the trainers, and Bankroll Truth are free and stay free — the whole of the arithmetic, not a sample of it.

The benefit

Your brain is a muscle. Use it or lose it.

Here's what mastery actually feels like: the math goes silent. It runs itself. You're joking with the dealer, working the table, watching the room — and the count is just there, humming underneath, while you look like the last man alive who'd be counting.

That's both halves of your brain firing at once — the calculator and the charmer, running in parallel, the way almost nobody ever trains them.

The counting is why you came. Rewiring how you think is what you walk away with — and you keep it long after you leave the floor.

CORRECTION A2 · MASTER 57:55

Counting gives you around 5% or more over the house.

The real edge is 1% to 1.5% — and only with a good game, a real bet spread, decent rules, and good penetration. I overstated it, in the direction that sells courses.

This isn't for everyone. Honestly, it's barely for anyone.

Chasing a jackpot? Wrong door. Close the tab.

Can't lose a hand without your stomach dropping? Come back when you can — this only works with real money behind it, and that's not a wall, it's the truth.

But if you've got the bankroll, the discipline, and a quiet suspicion that you're smarter than the way you've been playing — then you already know this was built for you. Prove it.

You just kept the count through this page. RC +2.

Now do it at speed.
